In August 2017, as the finals of the World Scrabble Championship were being played out, and close to the venue, this year's British MatchPlay Scrabble Championship started nearby in Nottingham.
After the event, featured games from each round were collated and put to video by Jessica Pratesi, with commentary added. These are now up on her YouTube channel.
We have included below the deciding game on our website: Round 25 between David Koenig and Lewis Mackay. A win to Lewis by over 83 would secure the title. You can watch the video by clicking on the link.
