WESPA Open
A world-class open where every player brings their gear.
The WESPA Open Championship brings together Scrabble players from around the world for a hands-on, competitive experience. Players who do not qualify for the Summit Cup can still be part of the exquisite experience by participating in the WESPA Open. This event will run alongside the Scrabble Summit Cup.
Registration
The registration fee for the championship is EUR 255 per player, which includes the following:
- Tournament entry levy.
- Lunch & tea breaks.
- Customized event shirt.
- Awards Gala dinner ticket.
- Raffle draw entry for free registration at the 2027 edition.
Playing Equipment
Players are expected to come with their playing equipment (Scrabble boards, clocks, racks, tiles, bags and other accessories) to facilitate the smooth running of the tournament. WESPA will look to cover any equipment shortage for the tournament.
Prizes
- Guaranteed star prize of USD 2,000 minimum.
- Top 8 players in all divisions to be awarded cash prizes.
- Spot and class prizes may be awarded.
